Earlier this autumn I got to photograph the wedding of Søren and Regina in one of the many beautiful locations hiding in Copenhagen, Amaliehaven by the Royal Palace. They are such a sweet couple, and we had a great time together shooting outside in the lovely weather (which is not a given in October in Copenhagen). The wedding at city hall was followed by a walk through the city with their family and friends to Nyhavn where they had the reception, and it's safe to say that turned a few heads on the way. Capturing the chemistry between them was not a difficult task, and going through the pictures and editing them I caught myself just smiling throughout. I'm a sucker for love stories, and seeing the pictures of them, and how very much in love they are with each other might have brought just a tiny little tear to my eye.
I never thought that I'd grow so fond of photographing weddings, but I must admit that I really enjoy it. I used to see it as something that might become necessary at some point, but with the opportunities I've been given throughout this year, I have really come to love it. There is something incredibly touching about photographing couples on a day that is so special to them, and Regina and Søren were just incredibly sweet and clearly very smitten with each other.
