The September Issues have already been out for a while, life is getting back to being routines as opposed to a general feeling of eternal freedom that the summer brought, and it’s the first week with a full schedule. I always feel so incredible tired in the end of August, and this year has been no exception. It’s slowly getting darker, what is demanded of you professionally as well as personally is rapidly changing with the return to work, university and a regular schedule, and it makes me feel a little heavy. My mood is fine throughout the winter, but getting back to my productive, engaged and ambitious self after the summer is always a bit challenging. That is why I live for Sundays when autumn returns and the days are getting shorter.
Sundays are for long mornings, late breakfasts, making plans for the week ahead, seeing friends and enjoying not doing anything.
Today is the first real Monday since summer ended, and I’m exited! I’ve buried the tiredness, enjoyed my Sunday and I’m ready for the week ahead. I hope that you are all finding ways to ease into your lives after the summer, and are exited about what is to come! Having exiting projects, travels and meetings in the near and distant future is such an amazing fuel for inspiration. The smallest of things to look forward to, will for sure pick you up on a demanding work week. September, I’m ready for you.
